Catherine (Cathy) Farnell is Witten LLP's Managing Partner, with an active practice emphasizing commercial real estate and property development, leasing, business law and financing, including construction, term, corporate and equipment financing. She earned her LLB with Distinction from the University of Alberta in 1996 and was admitted to the Alberta bar in 1997. Cathy is a member of the Edmonton chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women, a past board member of NAIOP, and a member of the CBA's Business Law and Commercial Property & Leasing subsections. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers, Chambers & Partners Canada, and the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and travelling.
