Carolyn MacEachern is a partner at Young Anderson who graduated from the UBC law school in 1997. She advises local government clients on workplace-related law, including labour relations, collective agreement interpretation and negotiation, grievances, wrongful dismissal, employment standards, human rights, harassment, workers' compensation, and employment policies, and she also advises on freedom of information and privacy matters. She has represented clients before the courts, labour arbitrators, the Labour Relations Board, the Human Rights Tribunal, the Workers' Compensation Board, the Employment Standards Tribunal, and the Information and Privacy Commissioner, and conducts collective bargaining negotiations for local governments. She regularly teaches the labour and employment law component of Capilano University's Local Government Administration Certificate Program.
