About Carolina

Carolina Klimas has practiced law since 2017 and began her career at MLS Legal as a student, then as an articling student and associate lawyer. After working at a major artists' association and a Montreal boutique firm known in the entertainment industry, she returned to MLS Legal, where she is now a partner. Her practice focuses on intellectual property and commercial litigation, particularly copyright and trademark disputes, including complex, high-value files, along with a range of mandates in film, television, live entertainment, music and the broader cultural industry. Carolina Klimas is a member of the Association des juristes pour l'avancement de la vie artistique (AJAVA) and sits on the boards of ALAI Canada, Infinitheatre, and Travelling. She has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Canada since 2025 for her work in corporate and commercial litigation and intellectual property law. She holds an LL.B. and D.E.S.S. from Universite Laval and is a member of the Barreau du Quebec.
