Brianna Johns is an associate lawyer at Valin Partners LLP practising across civil litigation, personal injury and statutory accident benefits claims, commercial and estates litigation, wills and estate planning, insurance and subrogation law, labour and employment law, real estate, administrative law, and corporate and commercial law. Born and raised in Hillsdale, Ontario, she earned a Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University in 2012 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario in 2015, moving to North Bay after graduation and being called to the bar in June 2016. Her litigation practice centres on civil and commercial disputes, estates litigation, and personal injury and insurance subrogation and defence, and she has appeared before the Small Claims Court, the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Divisional Court. She also advises on employment matters such as workplace investigations, severance, and employment contracts, and assists with real estate transactions and estate planning. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and serves as a director of the Nipissing Law Association.
