About Briana
Briana MacEachern is an employment and labour lawyer whose practice focuses on advising employers across Western Canada on the full spectrum of workplace legal matters. With experience in both unionized and non-unionized environments, MacEachern advises clients on employee discipline and termination, workplace investigations, employment contracts and policies, human rights issues, occupational health, and compliance with provincial and federal employment standards legislation. MacEachern regularly represents clients before courts, tribunals, and arbitrators, including the Alberta Court of Justice, the Alberta Court of King's Bench, the Alberta Labour Relations Board, and the Alberta Human Rights Commission, and advises on employment considerations in merger and acquisition transactions, having acted for clients in oil and gas, retail, financial services, construction, and technology. MacEachern holds a JD from Queen's University and a BA (Hons.) from the University of Calgary, and is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Law Society of British Columbia.
