About Mike

Mike Buchinski is the founding lawyer of Buchinski + Co. in Saskatoon and practises exclusively in criminal defence. He represents clients at all levels of court in Saskatchewan and has also acted for clients in Alberta, handling matters ranging from bail and release hearings to complex jury trials involving Criminal Code, Youth Criminal Justice Act, and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act charges. He is a graduate of the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan, where he competed in national Moot Court competitions and received the R. Bruce Ogilvie Memorial Scholarship. He was called to the Saskatchewan Bar and belongs to the Saskatoon Criminal Defence Lawyers Association, the Saskatoon Bar Association, and the Saskatoon Trial Lawyers Association, and previously chaired the Canadian Bar Association's Young Lawyers North Practice Group.
