Civil Litigation & Dispute ResolutionWith more than five decades of litigation experience, Brian Meronek, K.C. serves as Senior Counsel at Trippier Law. He was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1973 and practiced as a litigation lawyer with the Federal Department of Justice from 1974 to 1981, before entering private practice in 1982. He has appeared before courts at every level in Manitoba, Alberta, the Federal Court of Canada, and the Supreme Court of Canada, and was recognized as Queen's Counsel in 1995. His career spans complex commercial, environmental, administrative, pension, product liability, personal injury, and medical malpractice litigation, including a Supreme Court of Canada pension case that produced a $140 million award and a $445 million settlement for Indigenous children in provincial care. He currently serves on the Board of Operation Walk Manitoba.
