About Jolomi

Jolomi James is a lawyer at Trippier Law. He was previously a partner at a leading law firm in Nigeria, where his practice focused on commercial litigation, and held corporate governance roles including Company Secretary for an oil and gas company. After relocating to Canada, he completed the National Committee on Accreditation examinations of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada, volunteering and later articling with the Legal Help Centre on family law and civil litigation matters, including duty counsel work in the Court of King's Bench Protection Order docket. He was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2025 and holds an LL.B. (Hons.) from Ambrose Alli University in Nigeria and a Licentiate's Degree in Law from the Nigerian Law School.
