About Brian

Brian Hanna is a partner at O'Connor MacLeod Hanna LLP and heads the firm's real estate practice group. He earned his LL.B. and a B.A. in Economics from Queen's University and was called to the Ontario bar with honours in 1975. His career has also included criminal defence work, family law, and time as a federal Crown prosecutor, but real estate has been his focus for almost 50 years. Brian has represented clients in more than twenty thousand transactions, with values ranging up to seventy million dollars. He chairs the Board of Directors for the Oakville Community Foundation and has previously served as president of the Halton County Law Association and the Oakville Golf Club.
