About Brent

Brent Hooey practices corporate and commercial law with an emphasis on commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, joint venture and shareholder agreements, corporate tax planning, and commercial financing, as well as personal estate and trust planning. He advises clients in technology, construction, oil and gas, property management, and farming, and has completed the Certified General Accountants and CICA in-depth tax courses. Brent earned his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary in 1992 and his Bachelor of Laws in 1995, and was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 1996. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Calgary Bar Association, the Canadian Tax Foundation, and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and serves as President of the Calgary Aquabelles.
