About Bram

Bram Rogachevsky is the principal and founder of BR Law, providing legal, negotiation, and strategic advice to Indigenous governments and communities for more than 20 years. He advises on Aboriginal rights and title matters, acting as negotiator and legal counsel for First Nations at advanced stages of the BC Treaty Process and in self-government and reconciliation negotiations with Canada and British Columbia. He also negotiates the resolution of Specific Claims with the federal government and helps clients build capacity to transition from the Indian Act into self-government. His work spans governance, land and resource management, fisheries, forestry, mining, oil and gas, electricity transmission, clean energy, and tourism, and he often acts as general counsel advising on business and governance structures.
