About Brad

Brad Vermeersch's commercial litigation practice covers contractual disputes, class actions, administrative law, regulatory investigations, and appeals, with particular experience in high-stakes, multi-party infrastructure disputes involving competitive and regulatory pressures. He has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario as well as courts in Alberta and British Columbia, the Federal Court, and domestic and international commercial arbitrations. He sits on the Toronto Lawyers Association's New Lawyers Committee, supporting new calls and practitioners without ready access to mentorship. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2015, having earlier been admitted to the New York Bar in 2014 and the Alberta Bar in 2013, and clerked at the Court of Appeal of Alberta. He holds a J.D. from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University and a B.Comm. in Finance from the University of Saskatchewan.
