About Bharat
Bharat Kapoor is a partner who focuses on condominium law and corporate governance. He obtained his Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation in 2018 and was admitted to the Law Society of Ontario in 2020, after completing a dual BBA/LLB program at Symbiosis Law School in India and being admitted to the Bar Council of India in 2012. Before moving to Canada he practised at a boutique firm in India, handling corporate governance, regulatory advisory, and criminal defence matters. Since 2018 he has worked closely with Brian Horlick on condominium law, helping corporations enforce their rules and regulations through mediation, arbitration, and Condominium Authority Tribunal applications, with litigation used only as a last resort. He also reviews contracts, revises governing documents, and chairs owners' meetings, and is fluent in Hindi with proficiency in Punjabi.
