About Bernie

Bernie Simpson is the retired senior and founding partner of Simpson, Thomas & Associates, which he established as Simpson & Company in 1970, one of the first Vancouver firms representing car accident victims. Bernie pioneered the use of structured settlements in British Columbia and received the Order of Canada in 1990 for his volunteer and multicultural community work. He was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1969 and holds an LLB and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work, both from UBC.
