About Michael

Michael Hussey is a partner and leader of KMSC Law LLP's Litigation Group, with a civil litigation practice covering personal injury, insurance claims, debt collection, corporate and commercial disputes, construction litigation and liens, and employment and wrongful dismissal matters. Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, he earned a BA from the University of Alberta and Carleton University in 1992 and an LLB from the University of Manitoba in 1995, graduating as valedictorian. Michael clerked at the British Columbia Supreme Court, was called to the British Columbia bar in 1997, and moved to Grande Prairie in 1999, where he was called to the Alberta bar the same year. He is a past president of the Grande Prairie Bar Association and sits on the board of the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association as District Representative for the North West.
