About Armaan

Armaan Kaushik practises primarily in family law at MD Law Group. Born and raised in Calgary, he earned a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours from the University of Leicester, where he was an executive member of the Pro Bono Society, and completed his National Committee on Accreditation requirements while studying at the University of British Columbia's Peter A. Allard School of Law. He completed the Practice Readiness Education Program (PREP) for the Alberta bar admissions program and articled at a full-service firm, appearing before the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King's Bench on emergency protection orders, case conferences, docket appearances and judicial dispute resolutions, and second-chaired a family trial in Abbasi v. Khan, 2025 ABKB 469. During his articles, Armaan also gained experience handling criminal and civil matters.
