About Sandra
Sandra Hildebrand, Q.C., takes a practical, solution-focused approach to resolving legal disputes for individuals, families, and businesses, favouring interest-based negotiation and mediation while representing clients in Provincial Court, the Court of Queen's Bench, and the Court of Appeal of Alberta when necessary. She graduated from the University of Calgary Law School in 1992 and articled at the City of Calgary Law Department, practicing for over 25 years in civil litigation, family law, wills and estates, real estate, and intellectual property. She is a registered trademark agent who has litigated trademark disputes before the Canadian Intellectual Property Office, and she serves as a Dispute Resolution Officer at the Court of Queen's Bench and on its Family Law Rules Advisory Committee. Hildebrand has advised at the Faculty of Law's Student Legal Assistance Program for 15 years, mentors junior lawyers through the Law Society of Alberta, and is active with the Canadian Bar Association, including chairing its Family Law Section for Southern Alberta.
