About Anu

Anu Malhotra graduated with distinction from McGill University's Faculty of Law in 1997, where she received the Cheryl Rosa Teresa Doran award and volunteered at the McGill Legal Aid Clinic. She also holds a law degree from Delhi University and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1999. After articling at a major Bay Street firm, she turned her practice toward complex insurance-related plaintiff personal injury work, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and historic sexual assault claims, with particular experience in catastrophic injuries, concussions, and spinal cord injuries. She has appeared before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Licence Appeal Tribunal. Anu has served for years as articling principal to student lawyers and mentors junior colleagues. She belongs to the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Ontario Brain Injury Association, and she speaks Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu in addition to English.
