About Anne-Marie

Anne-Marie Montplaisir earned her law degree from the Université de Sherbrooke in 1991 and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 1992. She became an accredited family mediator in 1999 and ran her own practice under her own name until 2021, when she joined Brigitte Brunet Avocats. With more than 32 years in family law, she handles both litigation and alternative dispute resolution, and since 2002 has represented children before the Superior Court in disputes over parenting time. Montplaisir has been involved with her local bar association and currently sits on the board of the Caisse Desjardins de Beauharnois.
