About Robert
Robert Poirier founded his own criminal law practice in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield in 2011. He earned a Bachelor of Laws from Université Laval in 2001 and a diploma in journalism from the same university the following year. He became a member of the Barreau du Québec and began his career as a criminal defence lawyer with the Centre communautaire juridique de la Rive-Sud before going into private practice. He appears daily in criminal and penal matters before the courts of first instance, and has also argued cases before the Superior Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada.
