About Ankush

Ankush Sondhi is the Founding Partner and Lead Counsel of Sondhi Defence. His career started in 2013 with Legal Aid Ontario, and after his 2014 call to the Bar of Ontario he spent years as Duty Counsel at the Newmarket Courthouse before starting his own firm in 2018. He has represented clients before every level of court and tribunal in Ontario, including the Landlord and Tenant Board, the Immigration and Refugee Board, the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Court of Appeal. His practice now covers serious criminal offences as well as civil matters like personal injury and real estate disputes. Ankush also mentors students through co-op partnerships with the York Catholic and York Region district school boards.
