Immigration LawAngelica Gonzalez-Blanco is the founder of Angelica Gonzalez-Blanco Legal Offices, an immigration-focused practice with more than 25 years of experience in Canadian immigration law. She graduated from Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia, and later earned a Master of Laws from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants and is licensed to practise immigration law in Canada. Earlier in her career she worked at McKenzie Lake Lawyers, Surka Spina Cugliari, and Cisternas-Bartolomeo-Gonzalez Barristers and Solicitors, where she was a partner until 2012. She represents clients before the Immigration and Refugee Board and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, with a focus on permanent residence applications including humanitarian and compassionate grounds cases, and has authored a book on Canadian immigration.
