About Andrew

Andrew Wood is a partner at Rand Law LLP practising in family law and criminal law, with practical experience in professional discipline matters. He grew up in Lac La Biche and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta in 2013 before working at an oil refinery to fund law school. During law school he volunteered with the Student Legal Services Criminal Law Project and worked summers with the Alberta Crown Prosecution Service and an Edmonton employment and labour law firm. Wood graduated from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 2017, articled with Rand & Company LLP, and was called to the Alberta bar in March 2019. He is enrolled with Legal Aid Alberta as a roster lawyer for family and criminal matters and has appeared at every level of court in Alberta.
