About Darin
Darin H. Slaferek focuses exclusively on criminal defence, representing clients facing charges including assault, domestic violence, sexual assault, drug offences, theft and fraud, and impaired driving. He graduated from the University of Lethbridge with great distinction in 1998 and from the University of Alberta's law school in 2001, then articled with a civil firm before joining Tatarchuk Olson in 2002 and Engel Law Office in 2004, both times practicing criminal defence. He appears regularly at all levels of court in Alberta and has argued before the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as courts in Saskatchewan, British Columbia and the Northwest Territories. Darin serves on the Board of Directors of the Parkinson Association of Alberta and is a past president of the Western Canadian Disabled Fishing Association.
