Peter Shipanoff practises as a Barrister and Solicitor in Edmonton and St. Albert, Alberta, focusing on criminal law, civil litigation, and real estate. He was raised in St. Albert and earned a Bachelor of Arts with first-class honours from the University of Alberta, where he studied legal philosophy under Dr. R.A. Shiner before completing his law degree at the same university, concentrating on criminal law and criminal litigation. He volunteered with Student Legal Services during his studies and has more than 20 years of experience as a courtroom lawyer, appearing before the Court of Appeal of Alberta, the Court of King's Bench of Alberta, the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Provincial Court of British Columbia, and the Territorial Courts of the Yukon and Northwest Territories. He is a member of the Criminal Trial Lawyers' Association of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
