About Andrew

Andrew Keesmaat practises civil litigation with a focus on estate litigation, capacity litigation, and elder law. He earned his LL.B. at the University of Ottawa after an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University, was called to the Ontario bar in 2009, and obtained the Osgoode Certificate in Elder Law in 2018. He joined the firm as a partner in 2026 after practising estate, civil, and insurance defence litigation at a Hamilton firm. He's a past president of the Hamilton Law Association and chairs the Estates Law Committee for the Federation of Ontario Law Associations.
