Andrew Haynes was previously Assistant General Counsel (Global Corporate) at BP, overseeing the company's global M&A legal work, and before that was Deputy General Counsel at BG Group responsible for global M&A. He also served as BG Group's Chief Counsel for South America, based in Brazil, and was part of the management team on a sovereign wealth fund-backed bid for the privatization of a Petrobras pipeline. He has a background in international project development and finance as both a lawyer and a commercial advisor, and has supported gas and LNG projects in Brazil, Kazakhstan, Russia, Argentina, China and Oman. He is based in Singapore.
