About Andrew
Andrew Bird has litigated complex disputes for close to twenty years, with dozens of reported decisions in estate disputes, property matters, and corporate and commercial litigation. He completed his law degree at the University of Toronto in 2006, was called to the BC bar in 2007 after articling with a national Vancouver firm, and relocated to the Kootenays in 2010. He later earned a master's in tax law from UBC in 2016 and practised tax law nationally before returning to the region permanently. He has served as president of the Kootenay Bar Association and on the Canadian Bar Association's BC provincial council.
