About Amanda

Amanda is an associate at Torys focusing on litigation and dispute resolution work across several fields, among them intellectual property, class actions, and public and administrative law matters. Her intellectual property experience covers patents, copyright, trade secrets and trademark disputes. She belongs to the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada and The Advocates' Society. While in law school, Amanda worked as a legal and policy researcher for a non-profit consortium focused on human biology and genomics. She also co-founded the University of Toronto's chapter of Legal Hackers, a group connecting students, lawyers, software developers and businesspeople to discuss innovation in legal practice.
