About Kathryn
Kathryn Watson is a civil litigator whose practice is devoted to insurance defence, covering complex tort and accident benefits claims, occupiers' liability, priority disputes, and loss transfer. She has appeared in the Ontario Superior Court, Divisional Court, and the Court of Appeal, along with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the License Appeals Tribunal, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. Kathryn has spoken at continuing legal education programs for the Ontario Bar Association and The Advocates' Society, and her paper on soft tissue injury cases was published in the Oatley McLeish Guide to Personal Injury Practice. She was called to the Ontario bar in 1997 after earning an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1995 and an honours degree in Business and Psychology from the University of Waterloo in 1990.
