About Altynay

Altynay Teshebaeva co-founded Teshebaeva Henderson and practises family law in Ottawa. Before establishing the firm, Altynay lived and worked internationally on human rights issues, directing a legal aid clinic for children and youth and working on juvenile justice reform in the Kyrgyz Republic, and later worked at the United Nations Secretariat and the Consulate General of Canada in New York. Altynay has conducted numerous family law trials and previously worked at the Family Duty Counsel office in the Ottawa Courthouse and the Integrated Legal Services Office in Ottawa.
