About Allan
Allan Buist is the managing lawyer at DCA Lawyers, where his practice spans commercial and residential real estate law, including subdivision and condominium development, construction financing, property acquisitions and dispositions, and commercial leasing. He earned his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School after completing a B.A. in Sociology at McMaster University. Allan was called to the Ontario Bar in 1998 and has been with DCA Lawyers since 2000. Clients and colleagues regard him as a leader in the land development and construction bar, and his deep knowledge of the industry allows him to guide development projects from start to finish while coordinating the various members of a project team. He lives in downtown Hamilton with his family and participates on several not-for-profit boards and committees in the city.
