About Alexandre
Alexandre (Alex) Maltas is a Partner at DWF Canada in Vancouver. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2005, the British Columbia Bar in 2007 and the Alberta Bar in 2016. He holds an LL.B. from the University of Ottawa and graduated as a gold medalist from the University of Western Ontario. He has argued before all levels of the British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario courts, the Federal Court and the Tax Court of Canada, and heads the firm's Professional Liability Practice Group, defending architects, engineers and other design professionals in disciplinary proceedings. His practice also covers construction insurance, warranty and surety matters, commercial and employment litigation, and sports law.
