Construction LawAlexander Kooiman has advised Calgary's construction industry for more than a decade, with experience in project contract formation for developers, builders' lien disputes for contractors, bond matters for sureties, and construction project roles for consultants. He has represented clients at all levels of court in Nova Scotia and Alberta and has appeared before numerous administrative tribunals. Outside of practice, Alex volunteers as an instructor for the Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education and is a member of the Calgary Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Alberta. He was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2003 and the Alberta bar in 2004, and holds an LLB from Dalhousie University and a BA from St. Thomas University.
