About Alya

Alya Nazarali practises criminal defence, family law and corporate/commercial law at Quarry Park Law. Before joining the firm, she practised with a criminal defence firm in Edmonton and then worked as in-house counsel for Husky Oil in Calgary. She has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta and has represented clients in a wide range of cases, with considerable trial and negotiation experience. Alya volunteers as a pro bono lawyer with Calgary Legal Guidance and the Calgary Drop-in Centre. She was called to the Alberta bar in 2013 and holds a JD from the University of Calgary (2011) and a BA with distinction from the University of Alberta (2005).
