About Afrooz

Afrooz Niakouei obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Victoria in 2019 and joined Pettit and Company as a legal assistant that June. She began a Juris Doctor at the University of Leicester in September 2020, completing her first year remotely from BC during the pandemic before finishing the program in the UK. She returned to Pettit and Company as a paralegal in June 2022, began articling in July 2023, and was called to the BC bar in September 2024, becoming an associate at the firm.
