About Trevor
Trevor Owen grew up in Barrie and now practises family law and wills, powers of attorney and estates there. He has argued six cases before the Ontario Court of Appeal without a loss and, over roughly a decade, ran a streak of about 160 successful motions in a row. Trevor holds an Honours BA from the University of Toronto, a master's in International Law and Relations from Cambridge, and a law degree from Queen's University, where he was awarded several scholarships. He has taught the wills and estates course at Georgian College and lectured as a guest at Lviv University's law faculty in Ukraine. He belongs to the Simcoe County Family Lawyers Association, the Simcoe County Lawyers Association and the Ontario Bar Association, and he has authored articles for the Christian Legal Journal.
