The neighbourhood

The firm's office is in Suite 800 at 1000 Finch Avenue West in Toronto. The building has a bit of history behind that address. A 2001 City of Toronto council report on the sale of the property, filed under Ward 8, York West, describes it as a nine storey office building whose ground floor held retail space and a Provincial Courts location. The City sold the building that year, and Toronto's court facilities that had operated there were later folded into the newer courthouse at 10 Armoury Street downtown. Today the building holds private offices, and Steiner Law Group's own work runs through closings, filings, and negotiated deals rather than courtrooms, corporate, real estate, tax, and immigration files rather than litigation.
