Toso was called to the Ontario Bar in 2015 after a J.D. from Western University and a B.A. from York University.
Kim focuses on real estate, business, and corporate matters, drawing on earlier private practice and in-house experience, and is fluent in Korean, serving clients in both English and Korean. Toso practises litigation, employment law, and corporate and commercial law, and also works as fractional general counsel to corporate clients, a role built on Toso's own earlier private practice and in-house experience. Toso also lectures at Seneca College, teaching corporate commercial law and legal accounting, and serves on the board of the Canadian Sikh Association.
