About Humber Bay Law

Clients rate this firm highly on Google.

Humber Bay Law is a small law firm with two offices in the west end of Toronto: one on Lakeshore Boulevard West and one on North Queen Street in Etobicoke, which the firm calls its Sherway office. It traces its start to 2006, when Rahul Kesarwani began a solo practice near Kipling Station. The practice has since grown into a team of four lawyers covering eight areas of law: business and commercial law, civil litigation, family law, criminal defence, wills and estates, private financing, real estate law, and entertainment law.

The current team brings a mix of backgrounds. Kesarwani holds a law degree from the University of Ottawa and an M.B.A. from Western University, and has argued matters in the Superior Court of Justice and the Divisional Court. Siraat Mustafa earned a J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Windsor after articling at Gardiner Roberts LLP, and works across corporate, estate, family, and criminal files. Andres Dovale, also a University of Windsor law graduate, pairs corporate and commercial work with advisory support for startups, including blockchain related matters. Anna Okorokov studied at the University of Toronto and Southampton University, practised at firms in Dubai and Vancouver, and completed a certificate in entertainment law at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2025, and now advises entertainment clients such as agencies, models, and musicians.

The neighbourhood

The Lakeshore office sits on Lake Shore Boulevard West in south Etobicoke, along a stretch of Toronto's waterfront that was mostly small motels a generation ago and has since been rebuilt into a run of condominium towers facing Lake Ontario. That shift shows up in the firm's own blog, which includes posts written for condo buyers on topics like status certificates and new build purchases.

The firm's second office, on North Queen Street in Etobicoke, carries the name Sherway, after Sherway Gardens, a shopping mall in south Etobicoke. It gives the firm a second point of contact on the west side of the city, separate from its lakeside location.
