Bougadis Law Professional Corporation is a small litigation firm run by two lawyers, George A. Bougadis and Boris Goryayev, from an office on Adelaide Street West in downtown Toronto. The firm's practice reflects a deliberate switch in sides. Bougadis studied at Lower Canada College, Queen's University, McGill University, and the University of Calgary before being called to the Bar in Ontario, and now handles plaintiff personal injury litigation, long term disability claims, professional negligence, insurance coverage disputes, appellate advocacy, and commercial arbitration. Bougadis is a past president of the Hellenic Canadian Lawyers' Association and has served as general counsel to the Greek Community of Toronto, and the firm offers service in Greek. Goryayev, a graduate of the University of Western Ontario's law school, focuses on insurance, personal injury, and commercial litigation, is fluent in Russian, and is regularly retained by other Ontario lawyers to handle trials and appeals on their clients' behalf. The firm works on contingency and offers free consultations, and it's willing to meet clients at hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, or their homes.
