About Aaron Waxman & Associates

Aaron Waxman and Associates is a Toronto personal injury, disability, and employment law firm with its office on Finch Avenue West in North York. Founder Aaron Waxman earned a law degree from the University of Alberta in 1997 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1999. Before founding the firm, Waxman worked at two personal injury firms in southern Ontario. The firm marked its 10th anniversary in September 2018, which puts its founding at around 2008. What started as a solo practice has grown into a team of associates working out of the same Toronto office.

Its practice covers long term and short term disability claims, personal injury matters such as car accidents and slip and falls, and employment disputes including wrongful and constructive dismissal. One of the associates joined in October 2008, not long after the firm was founded, after studying international development and articling at a personal injury firm in Toronto. Another associate, originally from Montreal, holds a dual LL.B. and B.C.L. from McGill University's Faculty of Law and joined the firm in 2020. Two of the firm's lawyers are proficient in French. In 2025, Canadian Lawyer Magazine named the firm one of Canada's Top Personal Injury Boutique Law Firms.

The neighbourhood

The firm's office is in the Humbold Business Centre at 1120 Finch Avenue West in North York, a mixed use business complex with a seven storey office tower. Because the firm says it serves clients across Ontario, including Ottawa, Markham, Brampton and Hamilton, and not just the immediate neighbourhood, the building's access to the Allen Road, Highway 401 and the Yonge-University subway line matters more here than it would for a firm built around walk in local traffic.
