Dubuc Osland is a small Ottawa law firm built around a focused practice: Inuit and First Nations economic development. Its two lawyers, Michael K. Osland and Shawn M. Dubuc, are both members of the Ontario and Nunavut bars, and they work from an office on Preston Street. The firm describes long standing ties with Inuit organizations in Nunavut's Qikiqtani, Kivalliq and Kitikmeot regions and with First Nations communities in Alberta, and it advises Inuit associations and development corporations, banks and lending institutions, and private businesses on corporate structuring, joint ventures in fisheries, resource extraction and commercial real estate, and treaty and land claim agreements.

Osland earned a law degree from the University of Ottawa in 1987 and was called to the Ontario bar in 1989, later joining the Northwest Territories bar in 1995 and the Nunavut bar in 1999. Dubuc trained first as a civil engineer at Queen's University before completing a law degree at the University of Ottawa in 2007 and being called to the Ontario bar in 2008 and the Nunavut bar in 2012. Beyond Indigenous law, the firm handles business and corporate law, secured lending, commercial and residential real estate, employment law, and commercial litigation, and it says its lawyers bring more than 50 years of combined practice experience to that work.
