About Shawn
Shawn Dubuc focuses his practice on corporate commercial law, with an emphasis on commercial transactions and corporate reorganizations. He drafts and negotiates a wide range of business agreements, including unanimous shareholder agreements, services agreements, and commercial leases, and also handles employment matters for the firm's corporate clients. Dubuc represents several Inuit economic development corporations along with private business corporations and not-for-profit organizations. He earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in civil engineering from Queen's University in 2003, including a 16-month engineering internship in Toronto, and his law degree from the University of Ottawa in 2007, graduating cum laude. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2008 and the Nunavut bar in 2012, and articled at a national law firm in Ottawa before joining Dubuc-Osland.
