Bird Richard is a management side labour and employment law firm centrally located in Ottawa, at 508-130 Albert Street. Founding partner Stephen Bird has represented employers in labour and employment matters since 1992, after beginning a career as in house labour counsel to Canada's largest Crown corporation, and holds a Master's degree in European Employment Law from the University of Leicester. The firm advises private and public sector employers across the country, including both provincially and federally regulated organizations, with a client list that ranges from national Crown corporations to small local construction companies.

The firm's four lawyers, founding partner Stephen Bird, partners Caroline Richard and Russell MacCrimmon (both called to the bar in 2002), and associate Taylor Stanton, handle wrongful dismissal defence, human rights and workplace harassment complaints, labour and interest arbitration, workers' compensation appeals, and occupational health and safety matters. Bird Richard has appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada, and it offers services in English and French.
