Yuri Tarnowecky earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph and a law degree from Queen's University, was called to the Ontario Bar in 1975, and has practised law in Kingston for more than 50 years, having moved to the city in 1969. What began as a solo practice has grown into a team of six lawyers, including Ivanna Tarnowecky, Brad Fochesato, Scott Raycroft-Wright, Kevin Kiss, and Wilson Derbyshire, several of whom trained at Queen's University's own law school.
