About Perron Law Firm

Perron Law Firm Professional Corporation is a small firm in Timmins, Ontario, with two lawyers practicing family law, civil litigation, and wills and powers of attorney. Founder Matt Perron articled with Wallbridge, Wallbridge Trial Lawyers in Timmins after law school, then joined Gosselin Law Firm in 2013. Perron took over that practice in late 2022 and established Perron Law Firm under its current name. Before law school, Perron served with the Military Police Squadron at CFB 8 Wing in Trenton, and holds a D.E.C. from Collège Boréal, a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Justice from Laurentian University, and a Juris Doctor from the Université de Moncton.

The firm describes its approach as seeking access to justice rather than simply fighting for a client's rights, and it works across Northeastern Ontario, including Kirkland Lake, Temiskaming Shores, North Bay, Sudbury, Kapuskasing, and the James Bay Coast. Perron sits on the Office of the Children's Lawyer panel and belongs to the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and French language legal associations in Ontario and New Brunswick. Lawyer Mario Guerrero joined after articling with Persaud Law Group and working in estates and insolvency matters at a credit union, and speaks English and Spanish while learning French.
