About Yasmin
Yasmin Abbadi earned a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in International Management from the University of Ottawa before completing her law degree (LL.B.) with Honours at the University of Kent in England. She joined Galarneau & Associates after being called to the Ontario Bar in June 2022 and practises exclusively in family law, helping clients resolve matters through alternative dispute resolution or litigation. Before her call, she worked as a legal assistant and articled with a family law firm, gaining experience preparing domestic contracts and handling parenting, property, and support disputes. During law school she volunteered with the Kent Law Clinic and the Joint Enterprise Appeal Project and took part in mooting competitions. Yasmin provides services in Arabic and is currently accepting Legal Aid Ontario certificate clients.
