About Susan

Susan Galarneau is the founder and lead counsel of Galarneau & Associates. She has practised as both a lawyer and a mediator for close to 30 years, holding a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University. She is certified as a collaborative lawyer and works across all areas of family law, including separations, parenting disputes, child support, spousal support, and property division, and has extensive experience acting as children's counsel. Susan also handles child protection matters, has done significant work in adoption, and acts as an arbitrator for family-related matters. She is certified in mediation, collaborative practice, arbitration, and child protection law, and is fluently bilingual in English and French.
