About Fan

Fan MacKenzie practices family law exclusively, handling separation agreements, divorce, parenting arrangements, and support and property disputes, with particular experience in high-conflict matters. She's originally from California and started her undergraduate studies at UCLA before transferring to Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, where she completed a B.Sc. in psychology focused on child development. She attended law school at the University of Ottawa after her husband was posted there with the Canadian Armed Forces, articled with the Law Offices of Audra Bennett, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2013. She practiced at Lyon Family Law from 2013 to 2020 before opening her own firm in 2021. Over roughly a decade in family law, she's developed experience with complex issues including imputation of income, hidden assets, and high-conflict parenting disputes.
